                       Welcome to the most “impenetrable” place – The Inventory            

I am writing about one of my favourite book series – The Inventory more specifically The Inventory – Iron Fist! This fantastic series is written by Andy Briggs.

The main plot is about this Super Dangerous Gadget locked away in the most “secure place ever” The Inventory (hence the name of the books). It holds technology that no-one else has ever seen from Rocket Boots to exploding bubble gum! The gadget is called Iron Fist. Dev (the main character) is living a peaceful life…until The Inventory gets attacked. Now to get to the point of why I’ve put ‘Most Secure’ and ‘Impenetrable’ in quote marks… because it gets attacked and broken into… so it’s up to Dev to stop this monstrous attack. But can he do it, or will he fall to the many challenges in his way?

The Blurb:

When The _________ breaks into The Inventory to steal the Iron Fist technology, Dev, Lot and Mason are trapped inside, becoming The Inventory’s ONLY defence.

To me this series (of four books: Iron Fist, Gravity, Black Knight and Winter Storm) is in the genre action and sci-fi because of all the futuristic gadgets and how much action they undertake. Personally I believe that it is for all ages but older children and teens will probably enjoy it the most. This book is aimed at both boys and girls as you have two strong male leads and a strong female lead, although in the later books you get another strong female lead.

Here are 3 reasons why I LOVE these books:

1. The action and adventure in these are spectacular.
2. I love experiencing what it would be like to have all those high-tech gadgets and what Andy Briggs interpretation of them are.
3. The way the plot is laid out and how you learn and realise new things the more you read! AMAZING!

I think the reasons others should read it is that if you love action and sci-fi gadgets then this is perfect as it moulds the two into four beautifully written books! Also the vocabulary choices in this are exceptional and not only draw you into the book but they make you feel the drama, the adrenaline, the hurt, the brilliance!

That is why I LOVE this series and wish others to share the same delight as me.
